The beach is accessible via a steep descent, which includes a number of steps. This makes it suitable for most able-bodied individuals. However, the walk from the nearest car park at Mortehoe is long and can be quite challenging due to the steep slopes and numerous steps. Despite the challenging access, many visitors find the journey to be worth it for the beauty and tranquility of the beach. In terms of amenities, the beach does not have a lifeguard. Visitors are also advised to be mindful of the tide times due to the quick turn of the tide. The beach's rocks are perfect for exploring and climbing when the tide is out.
