Salagona Beach

Salagona Beach is a popular destination known for its stony landscape and excellent water quality. The beach is often described as clean with very little pollution, even underwater. This may be attributed to the presence of an underwater freshwater spring near the shore on the right side of the bay, which also results in cooler water temperatures in that area. The beach is generally calm and can get crowded, especially during hot weather. It is recommended to arrive early, preferably before 10 a.m., to secure a spot as there is limited shade available. The beach lacks natural shade with no trees and only a few umbrellas available for use. There is also a beach bar that provides sunbeds. Despite its popularity, Salagona Beach has limited amenities. There is a canteen on-site, although its menu is described as adequate but limited. Notably, there is no toilet facility available at the beach. Parking can also be a challenge due to the high number of visitors, so it's advisable to plan accordingly.
