S'Almonia

S'Almonia is a unique beach located in one of the most aesthetically appealing fishing villages on Mallorca. Unlike traditional beaches, S'Almonia is renowned for its cliff jumping spots, with heights ranging from 8 to 18 meters. The beach offers breathtaking views and a fantastic vibe, making it a favorite among visitors. The natural characteristics of S'Almonia are truly remarkable. The water is crystal clear, and the area is home to a variety of marine life, including numerous fish species. The beach also features a giant rock pool that leads out to the sea and small caves that visitors can swim into. However, the beach's rocky terrain can be quite sharp and uneven, and the rocks can be very slippery, making it a bit challenging to enter the water. Despite these challenges, the beach is well worth the trip. It has a small area for sunbathing, although the spots are not particularly soft. There are also great jumping areas and beautiful views to enjoy. However, visitors should note that there are no toilets or facilities on the beach, so it's advisable to bring everything you need. Access to S'Almonia is not the easiest. Visitors need to walk down a steep staircase of 120 steps to reach the beach. If you plan to drive, it's recommended to arrive early in the morning to secure a parking spot close to the cove. Otherwise, you may have to park further away and walk a considerable distance to the beach. Alternatively, the beach is a 10-minute walk from the nearest bus stop and is also close to Calo del Moro. Despite not being crowded, the beach's unique features and natural beauty make it a must-visit destination on Mallorca.
