Siesta Beach

Siesta Beach, situated on the petite Siesta Key island, located off the Sarasota coast in Florida, USA, is accessible via a bridge. This beach differs from other sandy beaches globally for its sand composition, as it comprises 99% quartz. The sand, reportedly millions of years old, is believed to have descended from the Appalachian mountains down the rivers.
