Tegnue Beach

Tegnue Beach, located in Chioggia, Italy, is a popular destination known for its cleanliness, organization, and spaciousness. This large beach is nestled halfway between the Adriatic coast and the Venetian lagoon and can be accessed by car in approximately 15 minutes by following the Lungomare Adriatico and then Via Agostino Barbarigo. One of the unique features of Tegnue Beach is its designated area for dogs, which makes it a favoured spot for pet owners. The dog-friendly zone is situated directly in front of the equipped area and is equipped with suitable floating equipment for the pets. However, there are certain rules that dog owners have to abide by to ensure the safety and comfort of all beach-goers. These include keeping the pet on a leash, having a muzzle handy in case of potential risks, not allowing aggressive dogs or females in heat on the beach, and ensuring that the pet's waste is properly disposed of. Beach access for dogs is allowed from 8 am to 7 pm, subject to changes due to overcrowding. Tegnue Beach offers a plethora of amenities for visitors. These include a restaurant and bar serving small meals and aperitifs, beach volleyball and handball courts, a playground for children, hot showers, and free WiFi. The beach also offers sun loungers and parasols for rent to ensure a comfortable stay for the visitors. Parking facilities are available at the beach, with some packages including the cost of parking. Despite its popularity, the beach maintains a sense of spaciousness and avoids a crowded atmosphere, providing a pleasant beach experience for all visitors.
