Visitors can enjoy a walk along the shore or a majestic walk at night time on the sea front. The beach is also close to other attractions such as Anstey’s Cove and Paignton Beach, both of which are a short drive from the center. Getting to Torquay Beach is relatively easy, with a pleasant drive on the motorway from nearby cities such as Bath and Bristol. However, visitors should be aware of speed checking, average speed checking, and red light cameras when they are approximately 9 miles away from entering Torquay. Parking is available on the main road and in separate parking spaces. Charges apply and coins are required as cards are not accepted. Toilets are also available for a small fee. There are plenty of food options available on the main road and in markets within walking distance.
