Beach Trodražica is a picturesque beach located in a natural setting with a beautiful view of the mountains and the island. The beach is known for its gentle descent and shallow waters, making it an ideal place for families with younger children. A unique feature of this beach is a natural paddling pool on the right side where salt water mixes with fresh water, providing a cooler bathing experience. The pool is also warmer and teems with fish, making it a great spot for snorkeling.
The beach is accessible by a gentle descent from the nearby road where there is parking available for several cars. However, parking can be a challenge during peak times, and once parked, it's about a 10-minute walk to the beach. Some visitors have been known to drive their off-road vehicles down to the beach. Closed-toe shoes are recommended for the walk, but not absolutely necessary.
Despite its natural beauty and unique features, Beach Trodražica is not overly crowded, even during the high season. It offers some shade until noon, after which sun protection is advised. Please note that dogs are not allowed on the beach.
