Turtle Beach

Reaching Turtle Beach requires a bit of effort, but the journey is considered part of the experience. The beach can be accessed by traversing a forest path for approximately 25 minutes from a nearby resort. For those who prefer a speedier option, a motorbike ride can also lead to the beach, although locating the dirt road that leads to the beach can be somewhat challenging.

The trek to the beach takes visitors through a lush jungle, where they can enjoy the sight of diverse trees and wildlife, including butterflies. Visitors are, however, advised to exercise caution due to the risk of falling coconuts and the presence of mosquitoes. Carrying insect repellent is therefore recommended to ensure a comfortable visit.

Once at Turtle Beach, visitors can take a dip in the clear waters. The clarity of the water, however, can be influenced by weather conditions, especially heavy rain. Despite this, the beach is typically not crowded, offering a sense of solitude to its visitors.

Turtle Beach, while naturally beautiful, has been impacted by pollution. Garbage and plastic waste from offshore vessels occasionally wash up on its shores, marring its pristine condition.
