Ulcinj Beaches

Ulcinj is a town located on the coast of Montenegro. It is a famous tourist destination, especially in the warm summer months from May to September. Despite being in Montenegro, majority of its population is, in fact, Albanian. That being said, it’s no surprise that the most of tourists in Ulcinj are Albanian as well.

Ulcinj is a great place to visit if you want to experience a more traditional and less westernized side of Montenegro. The town is located on a beautiful stretch of coastline and is home to some great beaches. It’s also a great place to go if you’re interested in history, as there are a few ancient ruins located in the area.

If you want to reach Ulcinj from Albania, there are a couple of options. Taxies are generally too expensive and trains are not always reliable, so the best way to get there is by bus. Buses depart from Tirana and Shkodra and there are a few different companies that offer service. If you plan to reach Ulcinj in Montenegro from Skhoder in Albania, there is a bus line that makes the trip twice a day. If you plan to reach Ulcinj from the capital of Albania Tirana, there are buses departing from the city almost every hour. However, it might be easier to take a bus from Tirana to the capital of Montenegro Podgorica, enjoy Podgorica for a couple of hours, and then take a bus from there to Ulcinj. One thing we would definitely recommend to avoid is to travel to Ulcinj by your own car. There is no free parking in Ulcinj. If you want to park your car, you will have to pay for it, and the prices are not cheap. Even if you don’t mind the price, the parking situation in Ulcinj is very chaotic and it can be difficult to find a spot, so you might easily find yourself driving around for a while looking for a spot to park.
