The beach is characterized by its unique sand, which varies in color from golden to red, and extends over a length of approximately 200 meters. The sand is complemented by the turquoise and crystalline waters of the sea, which is home to an array of curious fish. This combination of clear water and vibrant marine life makes Plage de Verghia an excellent spot for snorkeling. In addition to its natural allure, Plage de Verghia offers several amenities. Visitors can enjoy the convenience of a beach bar and also have the option to rent boats for exploring the surrounding waters. For those who prefer to relax on land, the beach is bordered by a pleasant pine forest on one side and a lesser-known red sand cove on the other, providing ample space for picnics and leisurely strolls. Reaching Plage de Verghia can be somewhat challenging, but the journey is well worth the effort. The route involves following the directions for Argent Beach and then continuing for an additional 200 meters on the D55 road. Once there, visitors can take advantage of the free parking areas located in close proximity to the beach, including one directly in front of the beach and another just 20 meters away. Despite its lack of on-site gastronomy and toilet facilities, Plage de Verghia is highly appreciated for its fine pebble surface and tranquil environment. Its relative obscurity compared to nearby beaches adds to its charm, offering visitors a unique and peaceful seaside experience.
