Wurtulla Beach

Wurtulla Beach is a long, clean, white sand beach with spotless water. The beach is set on a totally natural, vegetated dune backdrop. The beach runs for many kilometres in both directions, with nearly no people on it, making it not crowded. The beach is very exposed, with strong tides and sweeps (currents), and some rips, so caution is advised when swimming. There are several lifeguard towers for safety. The beach is also pet-friendly, making it perfect for taking dogs on a lengthy stroll. There are plenty of small rocks at low tide for fossickers and collectors. The beach has plenty of easy spread out parking. The canopy on the sand dunes is beautiful and shades the tracks and paths, making it perfect for a hot day.
