Xi Beach

Xi Beach is a unique coastal destination located about 4 km from the town of Lixuria. It is known for its distinctive reddish-purple sand and gray limestone rocks, which contribute to its muddy appearance both in and out of the water. The beach is long but narrow, with space primarily for two lines of closely placed sunbeds. Despite its popularity, it is generally not overly crowded.

The beach's biggest attraction is the porous rocks that produce a healthy mud, which many visitors enjoy applying to their skin. The sand and clay are also considered amazing, providing a unique experience for beachgoers. However, the beach does experience some current, which stirs up the sand and makes underwater visibility near the shore challenging. As such, it is not the best location for snorkeling.

Xi Beach offers a range of amenities, including commercial sunbeds, changing cabins, showers, and water sports rentals. There are also several beach bars and hotels nearby for visitors to enjoy. Parking is available and free, although it is limited in capacity. The beach is easily accessible, with a path leading around a jutting cliff part to a less busy stretch of beach. The water is shallow and generally free of rocks or shingles, although some areas of the sea floor can be slippery and rocky, making swimming shoes advisable for those who plan to venture into the water.
