Žitna Beach

Žitna is a beach located in Korcula, Croatia. Known for its natural beauty, the beach is surrounded by an aquamarine water and a mostly natural environment. The coastline, though small, is very beautiful and provides a wonderful view filled with rich colors of the sea. The water is crystal clear, warm, and clean, making it a popular spot for swimming. The beach is also considered good for children. However, it can get very crowded, especially during the high season. Despite its popularity, the beach has a problem with littering. Visitors often leave bags of rubbish and cigarette butts on the beach. The local government has been urged to improve rubbish collection and prevention to maintain the beauty of the place. Parking at the beach is free, but there is not a lot of shade available. Despite its issues, Žitna remains a favorite among many visitors.
