The beach is characterized by its pebble shoreline, giving it a unique charm distinct from traditional sandy beaches. Despite being relatively small in size, often described as between 5 to 10 meters wide, it offers a beautiful and clean environment for beachgoers. A distinctive feature of Spiaggia della Gial is a torrent channel that leads into the lake. While this can affect the beach's cleanliness after heavy rain, the water is typically reported to be very clean when dry.

As for parking, though it can be challenging in Gargnano, there are several options available. These include parking lots near the town center and a paid underground garage near the bus station. Additional parking options can be found north of the exit road. It should be noted, however, that availability may be limited.

To access Spiaggia della Gial, visitors can take Via Rimembranze, the road on which the beach is situated. This dog-friendly area is located a little further up from Gargnano's old town, separate from a smaller beach where dogs are not permitted. Despite its size, Spiaggia della Gial does not tend to be overly crowded, offering a more tranquil beach experience.
