Spiaggia delle Dune is a stunning beach located in Sardinia, known for its fine white sand and large dunes that serve as a picturesque backdrop. The beach is quite expansive, providing ample space for visitors, although it can get a bit crowded at times. The beach is particularly popular among kite surfers, who take advantage of the windy conditions that are often present. However, these winds can also make it difficult to relax on the beach, as they can prevent the use of umbrellas and make eating a challenge. Despite this, the beach remains a favorite spot for many, with its crystal clear waters offering a refreshing respite. The beach is divided into two main areas. The left side of the beach is closer to the sand dunes and tends to have more algae both on the shore and in the water. The right side, on the other hand, is free of algae. In terms of amenities, there are several beach bars and deckchairs/umbrellas available for use. However, parts of the beach may occasionally be closed off due to military training exercises at a nearby facility. Parking is available a short 5-10 minute walk from the beach, with a daily fee of 5 euros. However, the access road to the parking area is not in the best condition, being made of gravel. Despite these minor inconveniences, Spiaggia delle Dune remains a must-visit location for anyone visiting Sardinia.
