Being a Handiplage labelled beach, it is designed to be accessible to people with reduced mobility, ensuring a comfortable visit for all.
During the summer months of July and August, the beach is supervised by lifeguards from 11am to 7pm. The lifeguards also provide wheelchairs suitable for swimming and beach walking, allowing visitors with disabilities to enjoy the beach without any hindrances. It's important to note that pets are not allowed on the beach during these supervised hours, but they are permitted on the beach before 8:00 am and after 7:00 pm, provided they are kept on a leash.
The beach extends over a significant area, providing ample space for visitors to relax and partake in various water activities. These activities include sand-yachting, sea kayaking, paddleboarding, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, and Hawaiian canoeing. These activities are facilitated by the Municipal Nautical Center situated nearby.

At the entrance of the beach, there is a playground equipped with a slide, a climbing wall, and a table tennis table, making it a family-friendly destination. Despite its popularity, particularly during the summer, Plage des BĂ©lugas maintains a peaceful ambiance. Nevertheless, it can get crowded during the peak season. Outside of these peak times, however, the beach remains a pleasant and less packed place to visit.
