Plage des Mouettes

Plage des Mouettes is a sandy beach situated in the Vendée department of the Pays de la Loire region in France, specifically in the southern part of the town of Saint-Hilaire-de-Riez. Parking at Plage des Mouettes is available but limited, with a free parking area located along the seafront. Despite this, the beach's location makes it ideal for cycling, suggesting that it may be easily reachable by bike. The primary access to the beach is through the residence of Les Marines. While the beach is popular among families and visitors, some have noted the proximity of buildings from the 1970s, the sometimes rocky sand, and occasional lack of space, even at low tide, as detractors. Nonetheless, Plage des Mouettes remains a frequented destination due to its wide expanse and natural beauty.
