The beach is divided into two distinct areas. The main area spans over 200 meters and features small gray or gray and white pebbles interspersed with sandy spots. The secondary area, on the left side of the beach, extends for another 240 meters until it reaches Cape Vita. This area is less crowded due to the presence of large stones and smooth pebbles.

To reach Spiaggia di Frugoso, visitors can follow the waterfront of the small town of Cavo, then take Via Bernardo Procchi. This route leads to the beach near the pine forest of Cape Castello and the parking lot.
