Spiaggia di Portu Ferru is a small cove located in Sardinia, known for its natural beauty and tranquility. The beach is characterized by its crystal clear waters, rich with marine life such as fish, crabs, and urchins. The surrounding area is abundant with typical Sardinian vegetation, adding to the serene atmosphere of the place. The cove is relatively sheltered and is used for launching and hauling small boats, as well as fishing from the surrounding red shale rocks. The waters are open, very clear, and immediately deep due to the absence of any settlement or anthropic influence. However, the shelter offered is modest, and in the event of sea storms, launching and landing any hull can become difficult. The beach is not easily accessible by regular cars due to the bumpy and rough terrain. It is recommended to either walk or use a 4x4 vehicle or a real off-road vehicle to reach the beach. Despite these challenges, the beach remains a charming and uncrowded place, offering peace and silence to its visitors.
