Spiaggia di Redinoce is a tranquil beach located on the northern coast of the island of Elba, within the municipality of Marciana. The beach is nestled between the towns of Procchio and Marciana Marina, offering a serene setting for visitors. The beach is not typically crowded, thus providing a peaceful and quiet atmosphere.
The beach spans approximately 80 meters in length and 15 meters in width. It originally comprised mixed gravel and pebbles, but a portion of the beach has since been transformed into a platform with fine sand. The beach is exposed to winds from the north to northeast and is sheltered from southern winds, making it an ideal spot for swimming and snorkeling.
Spiaggia di Redinoce offers a range of amenities for visitors. A beach establishment is available during the summer season, offering the rental of sunbeds and umbrellas. A beach bar is also present, providing food and drinks for visitors. Pedal boats are available for rent, allowing visitors to explore the nearby coves and beaches along the picturesque coastline. The beach also features a comfortable jetty that provides easy access to the sea, and the beach is dog-friendly, allowing visitors to bring their pets along.
There are two main access points to the beach. Visitors can start from the tourist resort of Procchio and follow the provincial road towards Marciana Marina for about 3 kilometers. After passing the Paolina beach, a sign directs visitors to a downhill section leading to Redinoce beach. A shaded path of approximately 200 meters, lined with holm oaks, leads to the beach from this point. Alternatively, visitors can access the beach from the nearby locality of Sprizze, which also provides parking options. This route is shorter but less shaded.
As a testament to its beauty, Spiaggia di Redinoce offers a stunning view of the Enfola promontory, adding to its charm and appeal. Despite its amenities and natural beauty, Spiaggia di Redinoce remains a somewhat underrated gem on the island of Elba, offering a unique and enjoyable beach experience for its visitors.
