Spiaggia di Su Crastu Biancu is a small, natural beach located in the municipality of Cabras, in the Sinis peninsula, in the province of Oristano, Sardinia, Italy. It is situated near the localities of Su Stricaoru and Is Arutas, and other notable places in the area include San Salvatore di Sinis, Funtana Meiga, and San Giovanni di Sinis. The beach is also close to the localities of Su Bardoni and Sa Benda.
The beach is known for its unique sand, which is characterized as small grain-sized white rocks. This gives the beach an unusual and distinctive appearance. In addition to the unique sand, the beach has a sandy bottom with light gray sand and some washed-up seagrass. The sea at Spiaggia di Su Crastu Biancu has a sandy seabed and displays beautiful colors ranging from turquoise to shimmering blue.
Despite the beach's natural state, it is not usually crowded, even during the peak season. However, the beach is not cleaned regularly, so the shore is often covered with algae and other debris brought in by the sea. The beach is not very long and the water deepens significantly just a few meters from the shore. This, combined with the lack of lifeguards, makes it less suitable for small children or inexperienced swimmers. Despite this, the clear water and rocky bottom make it a good spot for diving.
To reach Su Crastu Biancu beach, one can take the Strada Provinciale 54 from Oristano towards Tharros and S. Giovanni, then turn right towards Cabras and left following the signs for S. Giovanni di Sinis. After about 5 kilometers, turn left onto a dirt road with a sign indicating a camping site. The beach can also be accessed via a non-asphalt side road, which may be challenging for some vehicles.
There are no services directly available on the beach. However, there is a camping site near Su Crastu Biancu beach, making it suitable for caravan stays. The beach also has a payable car park available, although it is not monitored. Nearby the beach, there is also the only Domus de Janas in the Sinis peninsula, located in Is Arutas.
