Fanos Beach

Fanos Beach is a popular destination known for its crystal clear water and white sand. The beach is also characterized by its cliffs, which provide a great snorkeling area. Visitors often spot marine life such as starfish and octopuses near these cliffs. The beach is narrow with very thin sand and a few rocks. The beach is equipped with a beach bar, which provides refreshments and food. It is also family-friendly, offering easy access to the beach and ice creams for children. Fanos Beach can get crowded during the peak season in July and August, but it is beautiful and less crowded during the low season. To secure a good spot on the beach, it is recommended to arrive early. The beach is conveniently located not far from Ammos and offers a lovely view of Keros Island. It can be reached either by a sea bus that stops at one edge of the beach or by a 15-minute walk from the port.
