Frenchman’s Cove

      Frenchman’s Cove is a beautiful sandy beach in Portland, Jamaica. This beach is a very special gem of Jamaica. It witnesses the pouring of the river into the Caribbean Sea. So you could be swimming in the sea, and just a hop and a skip away, jump into the river. The beach is surrounded by lush forest, allowing you to take a break from the glaring sun in the clear Jamaican sky. There are many activities available on this beach such as excursions and tours of nearby caves and mountains as well as rafting and other watersports. A small fee is charged to enter the beach.
