Hohlakas Beach

Hohlakas Beach is a tranquil stone beach known for its beautiful sunsets, particularly when viewed from the top of the hill in the ancient necropolis. The beach is small and pebbled, with a few sun loungers and umbrellas available for rent. Despite its size, it is not typically crowded, even during the summer months. The beach is unique on Telendos for its exposure to the sun until evening, making it a popular spot for sunset viewing. The wind often comes from the open sea, leading to larger waves that are ideal for a vigorous swim. The waters are clean and clear, with some rocks in and around the water that are suitable for diving. There is less seagrass here than at other beaches on Telendos. Access to the beach is via stone stairs, which may not be suitable for those with mobility issues. The beach is also noted for its tranquil setting and isolation, with a few umbrellas available for shade. Nudism is not permitted on Hohlakas Beach.
