Spiaggia libera delle Collacchiette is a beautiful beach located not far from Castiglione. It is characterized by its classic Tyrrhenian Mediterranean setting, with dunes behind and a sea with a gradual bottom. The beach is free to access and is known for its fine sand and clean sea. It is also noted for being fairly well-kept with disabled access, although it lacks a walkway from the ramps down to the beach. The beach is a couple of kilometers south of the equipped beach of Castiglione Della Pescaia and can be reached on foot without problems via the beach. Despite its proximity to the town, it offers a peaceful environment, even on high season weekends, as it is not typically crowded. Visitors can enjoy an immense expanse of beach with very few people. However, it is worth noting that the beach can be windy at times, which may cause the sand to become a bit unbearable. As for amenities, there is a suggestion for more concrete bins and the installation of water fountains and public showers.
