Beach Liburnia

Beach Liburnia is a picturesque beach located near Trieste, known for its warm, clean water and peaceful atmosphere. The beach is primarily composed of stones, with no sand, making it a unique location for beachgoers. Due to the rocky terrain, visitors are advised to bring beach shoes or sandals for comfort. The beach is not typically crowded, providing a serene environment for those seeking tranquility. The beach offers a few amenities for visitors, including a small bar and restaurant, as well as a fresh water shower hidden behind the trees. However, there is limited shade on the beach, so visitors are advised to bring their own sun protection. Access to the beach can be a bit challenging, but it is well worth the effort. Visitors can reach the beach by a ten to fifteen-minute walk from the main road, where free parking is available. Alternatively, public transportation is also an option, with bus G51 from Trieste stopping at the request stop, Ginestre. From the Ginestre stop, it is a further fifteen-minute walk to the beach, with the path ending in stairs. The beach is also known for its stunning sunset views, adding to its overall charm and appeal.
