Plage de l'Uhabia is a beach located in the southern part of Bidart, a village in the Pays Basque region of France, near the Spanish border. It is situated near the Centre beach and is easily accessible, making it a popular destination for tourists. On one side, the beach is crossed by the Uhabia River and consists of fine gravel, and on the other side, it is sandy. However, dogs are not permitted during this surveillance period. Visitors can reach the beach by bike via the Vélodyssée, on foot or by bike via the new Voie Verte that runs along the Uhabia River. The beach is also accessible by bus from the "Plage" or "Uhabia" stops. There are two large paid parking lots available from June 15th to September 15th, one on Rue des Tamaris and another on Avenue d'Espagne, providing ample parking space. Despite its popularity, Plage de l'Uhabia is not overly crowded, allowing visitors to relax and enjoy the serene environment. The beach's opening hours vary, with different days being closed or open from 12pm to 7pm.
