The beach is accessible via a scenic path through woods of holm oaks and pine trees, which starts at the "Via Panoramica del Porticciolo" or "Lovers' Walkway" in Rio Marina.
The beach's sedimentary rocks display fascinating lines of different colors due to geological impact over the years, adding to the area's charm. These rocks, combined with the crystal clear water and shingle sea bed, create an almost magical atmosphere that's perfect for snorkeling and scuba diving. However, it's important to note that the fish fauna is not particularly abundant in this area.

Although parking near the beach can be a challenge during peak times, there are private parking spaces available along the road leading to the beach. Visitors are advised to leave their cars on the main dirt road and walk to the beach. To reach Spiaggia Luisi D'angelo, start from Rio Marina and follow the signs for "Via Panoramica del Porticciolo" or "Sentiero dell'Amore." After about 2.2 km, there are steps on the right that lead to some houses. Going down for about 10 meters, a path across the woods on the left will take visitors directly to the beach.
