Cala Mandriola

Cala Mandriola is a picturesque beach located adjacent to Cala del Pisciatoio, with the two coves connected by a path that descends from the Amandolo refreshment area, first among olive groves and then among holm oaks. The beach is known for its natural beauty, with transparent waters and a backdrop of large white stones that contrast with the blue of the sea. It is also characterized by its seclusion and wild nature, with the remains of a furnace adding a unique touch to the cove. The beach is not very crowded, in part due to the somewhat challenging path required to reach it. The path is approximately 650 meters long and partly passes through the middle of the Mediterranean scrub. It is recommended to wear trainers rather than flip-flops due to the rocky terrain. Despite this, the beach is still accessible, with local children working to improve the practicability for both pedestrians and bikes. One of the main features of Cala Mandriola is its pebbly surface, covered in stones and remains of poseidonia. Due to the rocky nature of the beach, visitors are advised to wear rock shoes. Despite its natural beauty, the beach has been noted for the presence of trash, which detracts from the otherwise pristine environment. Cala Mandriola is also known for its stunning sunsets, making it a perfect spot for those looking to enjoy nature's spectacle at the end of the day.
