Paralia Chochlaki

Paralia Chochlaki is a unique beach located very close to a nearby village. It is reachable by passing the headland to the north via a path. The beach is characterized by its round volcanic stones that make up the seabed, giving it a unique and beautiful appearance. However, these stones can make the entrance into the water fairly steep and difficult, especially when the sea is rough. Therefore, it is advisable for visitors to bring beach shoes. The beach is also known for its clear and transparent water. Despite its rocky nature, the beach offers amenities such as sun umbrellas free of charge, and a couple of tamarisk trees provide natural shelter from the sun. There is no parking available for scooters or cars at the beach. Despite its proximity to the center and its unique beauty, the beach can be described as wild, with big rocks making it difficult to swim when there are waves. The sound of the water moving the round volcanic stones creates a magical atmosphere, making Paralia Chochlaki a truly unique beach.
