Paralia Spathi

Paralia Spathi is a beautiful sandy beach known for its crystal clear waters. The beach is not easily accessible due to an unpaved road that requires a 5-kilometer off-road drive. While it is possible for a normal car to reach the beach, drivers are advised to be cautious and drive slowly. The route to the beach, despite being off-road, offers beautiful views. The beach is partially organized with sunbeds and umbrellas, however, these are not free of charge. There are also some free public umbrellas available, but their number is limited. Visitors are advised to not rely on finding a free umbrella. Amenities at the beach include a restaurant and snack bar, showers, and toilets. The beach is also served by a small hotel. Visitors can order food and drinks to their sunbeds or opt to dine in the covered restaurant section for a break from the sun. Parking at the beach is free, however, some visitors have expressed concerns about cars parking directly on the beach, which they feel spoils the view and disturbs the peaceful atmosphere. Despite its natural beauty, there have been concerns about littering at the beach. Visitors are urged to respect the environment and dispose of their trash responsibly. The beach is popular and can get crowded, especially on weekends. Early arrival or reservation is recommended to secure a spot. Despite the crowds, visitors have reported that they were always able to find a spot, even when the beach was busy.
