Plage Remember

Plage Remember, also known as the North Beach, is situated at the northern end of Mimizan, a town in the Les Landes department of France. The beach is uniquely named after the Villa Remember, a white house with a green roof that is the last building on the seafront when heading north along the coastline.

The beach is known for its wild and natural environment and is especially popular among surfers because of its beautiful waves. It's also a favorite spot for fishermen. Naturism is practiced on the beach, making it common to see vacationers sunbathing in the nude. However, swimming near the mouth with the current is not advised.

During the summer, Plage Remember is monitored and equipped with a lifeguard station. The beach provides amenities such as showers, toilets, and a small snack bar for the convenience of visitors. Lifeguards are present every day from 11 am to 7 pm during the summer season.

Access to Plage Remember is via Avenue de la Côte-d’Argent, with an additional path available near Rue du Belvédère. There is a small free parking lot along Avenue de la Côte-d’Argent for visitors, and additional parking is available near Rue du Belvédère. The beach can also be accessed from the north of Avenue de la Côte d'Argent, and there are other access points through the Sainte Eulalie forest, although these are more challenging to reach and swimming in this area is considered dangerous.
