Lipauska Beach, situated in OpÄina Bibinje, Croatia, is a popular spot known for a variety of activities. Historically, it was a hub for beach parties and volleyball tournaments throughout the late 20th and early 21st centuries, often organized by the young locals and the youth branch of the HDZ political party. More recently, memorable beach parties have been organized on the beach by the Tourism Board of OpÄina Bibinje in collaboration with local establishments.
Lipauska Beach stands out for its unique natural features. Unlike many surrounding beaches which are bedded with limestone, Lipauska Beach is covered with the same material, offering a unique aesthetic appeal. The sea bed, in contrast, is sandy, creating a pleasant and comfortable underfoot experience for beachgoers. However, visitors should note that the presence of stones can make entering the water slightly challenging.
The beach is particularly family-friendly, making it a great choice for those with younger children. A fixed parasol on the beach offers shade during the morning hours, making it an ideal spot for early visitors. A rope also demarcates the swimming area from sea traffic, enhancing the safety of swimmers. However, by late afternoon, the shade recedes and the sun's heat intensifies.
In terms of amenities, Lipauska Beach is equipped with a restaurant that serves a range of beverages and other offerings. The key to the toilet facilities can be borrowed from the restaurant upon request. Unfortunately, shower facilities are currently unavailable at the beach. For those arriving by car, a parking area is provided for added convenience. However, visitors should be aware that the beach itself is relatively small, which may affect the availability of space during peak times.
