Plage du Petit Traict

Plage du Petit Traict is a beach known for its fine sand and moderate size, providing a balance between spaciousness and intimacy. The beach is neither too big nor too small, making it an ideal location for beachgoers. The sand is fine and there are no large pebbles, making it comfortable for walking and lounging. At low tide, a few rocks appear but only on one side of the beach, leaving plenty of space for visitors. The water at Plage du Petit Traict is unique in that it is brown rather than the typical blue or green seen at many beaches. Despite this, the water is quite transparent. However, it should be noted that the water appears with the tide at around 19:00 and can be cold, which may not be ideal for those wishing to swim. Additionally, the bottom of the beach can be muddy at low tide. In terms of amenities, the beach offers a goal cage for playing football and a swing area close to the first aid station, providing entertainment options for children. However, the food options are limited and primarily consist of fast food. Additionally, there are no shops on the beautiful and long embankment.
