The path to Punto Panoramico is primarily designed for pedestrians and is not suitable for children due to its steepness and mixed road surface. It can be traversed by bike, but caution is advised, especially on sunny weekends and during the summer holidays when the path can become crowded with visitors.
Punto Panoramico is also a beach, offering breathtaking views of Liguria, Portovenere, La Spezia, Toscana, Massa, and Carrara. The beach, known for its natural beauty, lies nestled between mountains and the sea. Visitors can enjoy a quick walk to the beach, and swimming is also an option for those who wish to do so. The beach is located near a small, medieval village, adding to its charm and appeal.
Reaching Punto Panoramico without a car can be somewhat challenging. However, parking is available in Montemarcello, though visitors are advised to be cautious and avoid parking between the yellow lines.
